Area in meters = length × width. Area in feet is converted using 1 sq ft = 0.09290304 m².
Required mixed material = area in m² × 2 kg. Kits = required material ÷ selected kit size, rounded up.
Part A = mixed weight × 8/9. Part B = mixed weight × 1/9. Both components must be measured by weight.
A 100-square-foot example
100 sq ft ≈ 9.29 m², requiring approximately 18.58 kg of mixed material: 16.52 kg Part A and 2.06 kg Part B. This requires approximately two 18 kg kits (36 kg supplied), or three 9 kg kits (27 kg supplied), before allowances for actual surface conditions.
